Our Engineering Team is lead by our Engineering Manager, who has been with us for more than a decade. He offers considerable experience in engineering, program management and business to ensure we understand your needs.
DRS Power Solutions Engineering Team has a proven track record of delivering products and services that meet military and industrial standards. Our products also meet their stringent environmental requirements. It's a reputation we've built through continued investments in state-of-the-art equipment and facilities for our engineers. These investments include an EMI test lab, a computer-controlled random-axis vibration test system and a number of environmental test chambers.
DRS Power Solutions has invested in a well-equipped experimental laboratory for modeling, simulating, analyzing and testing new products to further support our Engineering Team. And we have equipped our team with an extensive collection of specialized design tools and simulation environments to fully serve you.
At DRS Power Solutions, we encourage you to actively participate in reviews of our design activities throughout the product development phase. We subject all our designs to rigorous testing in certified external laboratories. This way, we ensure that our team meets or exceeds the design criteria before shipping the prototype to you.
Once certified and approved by you, DRS Power Solutions’ team tightly manages the product configuration so it delivers continuing performance that matches your original specifications.
DRS Power Solutions also provides you with Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) services. These services include supplying Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) analyses, comprehensive provisioning packages and technical manuals.
At DRS Pivotal Power and DRS Fermont, our Manufacturing Teams are cross-trained in multiple operations, giving us a highly flexible, highly skilled workforce. At DRS Universal Power Systems we bring together a solid supply chain to offer ruggedized versions of COTs solution tailored for deployable applications.
Our Assembly Team is trained to meet process and workmanship requirements of J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Class 3. We also use computerized systems to manage our planning, materials requirements and processes, giving us greater control over all aspects of manufacturing. And our manufacturing engineers qualify and monitor production processes, so we always provide you with high calibre, cost-effective products on schedule.
DRS Pivotal Powers', DRS Fermonts' and DRS Universal Power Systems' Procurement Teams carefully select and develop long-term relationships with our subcontractors and suppliers. It's one more way in which we are working to ensure you consistent quality and on-time delivery for all of our products.
