DRS Universal Power System's patented, Intelligent Voltage Selection™ (IVS) circuit combined with a matching isolation transformer configures and conditions a wide range of inputs. The TR-III UPS is adaptable to surrounding conditions permitting operations from domestic, international and field generator power sources.
Easy set-up and plug-and-play operation make start-up of the
TR-III effortless. A front removable battery pack allows battery
replacement while on bypass and reduces transport weight. Add
an optional external battery cabinet with up to two additional
battery trays to provide extended battery runtime. The intelligent
design of the TR-III includes single point grounding to eliminate
common mode noise and input power factor correction to maximize power capacity.
Each unit is equipped with an intelligent RS-232 communication
interface for remote monitoring and an auxiliary outlet to support
laser printers. Illuminated color indicators provide a reliable display
of both operating and alarm conditions. Adjacent front panel touch
controls provide alarm silence and UPS output power.
